You get Towman through the App Store under Apple’s standard license. This website and its art belong to THICKRIM LLC. You’re welcome to use the brand kit to write about the game.
Who we are
Towman and this website are made by THICKRIM LLC (“we” and “us”). By using the game or the website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use them.
The Towman app
- Your license. The app comes from the App Store and is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. For the app itself, that license comes first.
- Buying things. Downloads and any purchases go through Apple, under Apple’s terms. Refunds are handled by Apple.
- Play fair. Don’t copy, resell, or share copies of the game or its art, and don’t reverse engineer it except where the law allows.
It’s a game
The city, the companies, the calls, and the money in Towman are made up. In-game cash has no real-world value and can’t be exchanged for anything. Nothing in the game, the player guide, or the payout calculator is real towing, road-safety, legal, or financial advice.
This website
- Our work. The text, art, screenshots, logos, and code on this site belong to THICKRIM LLC or the people who licensed them to us. Read it, link to it, and share it.
- The brand kit. The brand & press kit is there so you can write about Towman. Use it to talk about the game, follow the guidelines on that page, and don’t suggest we sponsor or endorse you.
- Open source. This site is built with open-source tools and free typefaces. They’re credited, with their licenses, on the acknowledgements page.
Names and trademarks
Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, and iPad are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. App Store is a service mark of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions. TestFlight is a trademark of Apple Inc. Apple isn’t a sponsor of Towman. Businesses and brands inside the game are fictional.
No guarantees
We work hard on Towman, but the game and this website are provided “as is.” We don’t promise they’ll always be available or free of mistakes, and we may change or stop them. To the extent the law allows, THICKRIM LLC isn’t liable for indirect or incidental losses from using them. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
Changes
If these terms change, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. Using Towman or this website after that means you accept the new terms.
