Jobs & payouts
Every job gives you a place to go, work to do, and a payout to earn. Read the requirements before dispatching: the vehicle matters as much as the type of incident.
The job board
Section titled “The job board”| Job | Typical truck requirement | Destination |
|---|---|---|
| Flat Tire | Any truck | Finishes on scene |
| Broken Down Car | Light, Flatbed, or Heavy | Repair shop |
| Accident | Flatbed or Heavy | Company depot |
| Dealer Transport | Flatbed or Heavy | Customer’s home |
Van variants of breakdowns and accidents require a Heavy. Follow the requirement on the job card.
Start with base pay
Section titled “Start with base pay”| Job | Base pay | Per road tile | Base XP |
|---|---|---|---|
| Flat Tire | $320 | $12 | 12 |
| Broken Down Car | $520 | $28 | 20 |
| Accident | $1,100 | $34 | 34 |
| Dealer Transport | $800 | $40 | 26 |
The base estimate is base pay + (road distance × per-tile rate). Distance includes the trip from the depot to the scene and the towing trip to the destination, where needed. The game sets the offered payout when the call appears.
Use the payout calculator to compare those base estimates.
Why the offer can be higher
Section titled “Why the offer can be higher”The actual offer also accounts for:
- District: later districts have higher payout multipliers.
- Office: upgrades add a payout bonus.
- Company level: levels 4 and 6 through 10 each add 3 to 5% to new calls, for +22% by level 10.
- Vehicle: van variants pay more and require a Heavy.
- Weather: rain and snow increase payouts.
- Highway location: highway incidents receive a 25% bonus.
The game combines these modifiers and rounds the payout to the nearest $10. The tutorial job uses a fixed payout instead. You do not need to calculate this yourself: the job card shows what you will earn.
Getting paid
Section titled “Getting paid”Cash and XP arrive when the work is complete, before the truck returns home. Cash buys trucks, upgrades, and districts. Company XP raises your level, which opens more opportunities and, from level 4, better pay. XP is not spent when you buy something.
Missing an unclaimed offer means missing that opportunity. It does not take away cash already earned.
Next: Keep your trucks moving.
